inhabitable
These inhabitable artworks are created to serve as a frame for each audience member’s body and experience. I create sculptures as immersive physical spaces as well as works that activate the space of imagination, utilizing both the concrete language of representation as well as the expansive language of abstraction. Fabricated using raw, physical materials that communicate in body-based terms like weight, texture, temperature, scent, sound reflection, these different spaces and languages and materials act on and for the body.
